Our favorite ladies from the South are back, and this season the tea is hotter and the peaches are even sweeter. This year, two veterans are making their triumphant return to the show So hold on because things are about to get crazy.
After the explosive season nine reunion revealed that Phaedra Parks allegedly started the rumors that Kandi tried to take advantage of Porsha sexually, we definitely didn’t see a reconciliation coming. And we were right!
Kandi has made it clear that she wants nothing to do with Phaedra or Porsha. Instead, she’s focusing on her prospering new restaurant OLG (Old Lady Gang), which is booming with lines wrapped around the block since opening last year. Since last season ended, Kandi has also reunited with her group Xscape and they’re going on tour this fall.
Cynthia Bailey is 50, single and fabulous! While the new divorcee seems at peace with her split from husband Peter, she still seems to miss him, especially when he was unable to come to her grand “50 Shades of Cynthia” party, which was already drama-filled enough as the ladies tried to resolve some of their issues. It will definitely be interesting to see how 50 Cynt stands on her own this season, and gets her groove back.
Nene Leakes is officially back with her peach and serving face! As we all know, Nene is not the one to hold her tongue, so she’s definitely involved in the drama this season. Her first opponent is Porsha Williams. The two haven’t been on good terms in over two years because Porsha was not happy with Nene giving her advice about her physical altercations at the season 8 reunion show. It looks like the drama between these two will be the main storyline this season.
Kenya Moore is a married woman now! The season begins with news of the former Miss USA eloping. After quietly dating “baby” for seven months, Kenya tied the knot to her husband, Marc Daly, over the summer. While the ladies are slow to believe her union because she’s keeping mum about it, Kenya couldn’t be happier, especially after she cleared the air with her dad who was uninvited to the wedding. It looks like if the ladies want to know more about the Dalys, they’ll have to get the news on social media—like we do!
Porsha Williams is bouncing back after her reunion fallout with former friend and cast member Phaedra Parks. As she is adjusting to life without Phaedra, Porsha is putting all her energy and focus towards her career and health as she launches her new podcast and ventures into becoming a vegan. She also is feuding with Nene Leakes, who she claims tried to get her fired from the show. According to Porsha, the door of their friendship is officially closed.
This season looks like it’s going to be a wild one. Veteran Kim Zolciak-Biermann also returns to the show after a four-year hiatus. Looks like Cynthia and Sheree both found love, but was it found in the wrong place? Nene and Kandi are still at odds with Porsha, while Kim and Kenya go at it over their personal lives.
