Maintaining clear skin is vital when wearing makeup becomes routine. It’s important that you’re putting just as much effort into having clean and clear skin as you put into applying makeup everyday. Failing to take care of your skin will result in clogged pores, acne, dark spots, etc. How do you avoid these things?
By avoiding going to sleep with makeup on and washing your face with warm water and natural cleansers before going to bed.
Also, it’s important to wash your face before you apply your makeup so you don’t risk applying makeup on top of dirt.
Allow your skin to “breathe” every once in a while. I try to wear a bare face at least twice a week because I have sensitive, acne-prone skin. I’m bound to see pimples if I wear makeup too many days in a row.
Lastly, create a homemade facial mask! They’re fun to make and they leave your skin feeling amazing.
Although makeup removers are good to use, I suggest using natural face cleansers that were made with your specific skin type in mind. They aren’t harsh on the skin, they smell great, and don’t dry your skin out. Many makeup removers leave your pores open, which is counterproductive because open pores mean things are more liable to get in them, creating acne.
You maintain clear skin after every beat face by making sure you’re leaving room for bare faces as well!
